Some of our green design strategies:
• We use digital proofing methods, digital file sharing, and a digital project filing system
• We follow the “reuse, reduce, recycle” system throughout our projects
• The paper we specify for print projects is made from a high percentage of post-consumer recycled fiber (which saves trees, energy, and water and encourages new agricultural development)
• We specify soy/vegetable-oil-based inks (which reduces air pollution and improves employee safety)
• We work with printers who print green in a high-quality and cost-effective way
• We work with printers who utilize computerized pre-press operations (which eliminates photo chemicals and saves water and energy)
• We use LCD monitors and laptops, helping to lower our energy consumption
• Our office paper is 100% recycled
• We recycle paper, plastic, cans, glass, tin foil, etc.
• We donate a percentage of our profits to eco-friendly organizations: The Wilderness Society, The Nature Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund, Defenders of Wildlife, and the Center for Biological Diversity
